Description

Born in South Africa in 1971, Laurent LEMAITRE spent his childhood moving according to his father’s assignments as a construction site manager, living in Mauritius, Iran, Iraq, and Cameroon before completing his civil engineering studies in France. He then took on successive responsibilities across multiple countries: Slovakia, Uzbekistan, Poland, Turkey, Lithuania, Ireland, and finally Réunion Island in 2003. In 2004, he joined two partners at INTEGRALE Ingénierie, a building engineering consultancy, and became a member of Club Export Réunion in 2013. In 2015, they established a subsidiary in Mauritius (CANOPEE), followed by another in Madagascar (NOMADE) in 2016, and an office in Mayotte in 2019. Since then, they have been operating in the Democratic Republic of Congo and Kenya, with plans to expand soon into Côte d’Ivoire. Today, INTEGRALE employs more than 60 people, including four partners, with a turnover of €7.5 million. Altogether, these companies employ more than 120 people and generate approximately €12 million in revenue. In 2018, he became President of Club Export Réunion, an association of 120 companies fully dedicated to international business development. He completed his term in 2024. In 2020, he received the TECOMA Awards as “Entrepreneur of the Year 2019.” In 2021, he partnered with one of his employees to create FACTORY Engineering, an engineering consultancy specialized in industry. He also became President of the APM Guetali Club, an association he has been a member of since 2018. In 2024, he climbed Mount Kilimanjaro with his wife. Laurent LEMAITRE, 54, is married and the father of three children.
