Description
As a French-British dual citizen, Charles Rodwell is Member of the Assemblée nationale (the French Parliament) for the Yvelines county, in Paris’ region. He was elected in 2022 and re-elected in 2024.
Following his appointment by the Prime Minister in March 2026, Charles Rodwell is currently leading a parliamentary mission for the Government, which will deliver policy recommendations to “strengthen France’s financial, commercial and economic security”, by the end of 2026.
Charles Rodwell also represents the Parliament on the board of Business France, the national agency supporting French companies in their international business development.
Member of the Parliament’s Finance Committee, he delivered his policy agenda in July 2025 as President of the Parliament’s Commission for the reindustrialisation of France.
From 2023 to 2024, he led a parliamentary mission for the French Government on “France’s post-Covid-19 economic and industrial policies for our national sovereignty and security".
Charles Rodwell also serves as coordinator of France’s “Immigration, Asylum and Integration” budgets, for the Parliament’s Finance Committee.
On a local level, he serves as city councillor on Versailles’ city council and its urban community council.
Among previous professional experiences, Charles Rodwell served as an advisor to Bruno Le Maire, France’s ex-State Minister for Economic and Financial affairs. He has also previously lived and worked in Abidjan (Côte d’Ivoire), Casablanca (Morocco), Dubai (UAE) and London (United Kingdom).
