The Toolkit Foundation is a Kenyan non-profit organisation and Kenya's International Intitute of Welding (IIW) Responsible Member Society. Our commercial training arm, TTI Ltd, delivers demand-driven vocational training to youth across welding, solar installation, organic farming, and more.
Our welding training model combines virtual reality (VR) simulation with hands-on workshop practice, a blended approach that is faster, safer, and scalable without compromising certification standards. To date, we have trained and placed hundreds of welders in employment across Kenya, and approximately 40 Toolkit-trained welders are currently working in France, with many hundreds more active in industry across the country.
