CIAN (the French Council of Investors in Africa) is the French professional association that brings together industrial and service companies—both large corporations and SMEs—operating in Africa. Its primary mission is to promote and defend their interests across the African continent.
Today, CIAN has 150 member companies which, through more than 10,000 establishments and 500,000 employees across the continent, generate €60 billion in turnover, representing nearly 80% of French economic activity in Africa. Thanks to a network of influential correspondents and recognized African expertise, it provides its members with support and pragmatic solutions to the challenges associated with their development in African markets, which are often complex to navigate.
